Premium Recreation

Looking for a little more excitement? Add Premium Recreation to your event. While all recreation activities are included in every retreat package, some require minimal charges for staffing.  Event planners, please note that since some setup and orientation is necessary, all activities do require advanced scheduling with your Conference Services coordinator.


Outdoor Pool

The outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It's a great place to cool off and relax during the warmer months!

Cost: $18/hour per lifeguard

The outdoor pool is a great way to cool off in the summer at Potomac Park!

One of the staff directors stuck around to ensure that we were comfortable and had what we needed. He talked about his vision for improvements to the retreat center and 2 staff members checked on us at the fire pit to ensure that everything was okay. It’s good that the staff makes its presence known and checks with guests.

Calvary Road Baptist Church

It was great. Our girls loved the pool and that was really the best things on such hot days. The lifeguards were incredible and very professional. The gym is always a hit!

I loved that the cafeteria staff was friendly and helpful and prayed for the campers. Any type of maintenance issue was handled very quickly. It’s nice to see the Camp Director there, working and available to help with any issue as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful!!

The staff on campus are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed meeting each one of them and they quickly attended to anything we needed.

Everyone was fantastic. I also deeply appreciated how the kitchen lead talked directly with several of our folks with dietary restrictions to figure out how to provide meals they could eat. It really helped amid a tricky situation for us.
